About the Consumer Advocacy Group, it's owners, employees and clients...

The Consumer Advocacy Group was created by Kristy Sinsara in 2008. Kristy was the director for a real estate department in a law firm in California prior to opening the Advocacy Group. Her passion is politics and primary goal was to create a company that led Nevadans in creating positive change for homeowners while dealing with the housing crisis. Facilitating loan modifications is a very small part of what the company does.

After the Stimulus Package was announced, Kristy started the petition to STOP WASTEFUL GOVERNMENT SPENDING in Washington. She believes firmly that the Stimulus Package COULD HAVE helped, had it been more "pro-consumer" and not so much influenced and supportive of bailing out big banks and businesses first.

"We could have stimulated our economy from the bottom up, not the top down. We have a history as American's, if we have money, we'll spend money. We would have done this the right way. Giving breaks to small business owners, principal reduction to those in the hardest hit communities, interest rate reductions to specific borrowers and making it mandatory to convert subprime loans would ALL put money in the pockets of American's that would have fed that money BACK into our economy. President Obama did it upside down and flipped around backwards and disguised his affair with banking lobbyists with consumer friendly phrases like Making Homes Affordable. It was all wrong!" - Kristy Sinsara.

The Consumer Advocacy Group created the first and only PAY IT FORWARD program that created an outlet for homeowners in need to get help while also assisting those less fortunate while doing so. The program works like this. If you are a homeowner and cannot afford to pay a 3rd party to facilitate a loan modification, in lieu of paying for services, you can retain the Consumer Advocacy Group and donate your time or needed materials and goods to one of the nonprofit organizations they work with. The Consumer Advocacy Group works directly with the Shade Tree Shelter in Las Vegas and the local Habitat

For Humanity program.

In fact, every 3rd Friday of each month the CAG gives the entire staff a paid day off to build homes with Habitat for Humanity and calls to all of their clients to help.

"It's about paying kindness FORWARD, not back"-Kristy Sinsara

Kristy can be heard on AM talk radio and has been interviewed on a variety of media including Fox News, The Bob Massi Legal Hour, SOS Christian Radio, The Heidi Harris Show and several other local TV and radio media outlets.

The Consumer Advocacy Group has also hosted several town hall meetings to deal with the housing crisis and homeowner rallies to protest the unfair treatment of homeowners vs. lending institutions.

The goal is not to reach out to the individual homeowners. The goal is to reach out to the communities and help homeowners help themselves and continue to teach one another so we can all move forward and out of our recession.
